Carob Peanut Shake Smoothie (26 Reviews)

2 cups nutmilk or soymilk
1/2 cup old fashioned peanut butter
4 bananas, peeled
4 t. carob powder (optional)
2 Tb. maple syrup OR 8 softened dates (put into hot water)
8 ice cubes

Blend milk and ice cubes till smooth. Add peanut butter, syrup then bananas. Add carob powder. Serve in 4 tall frosty glasses.

This drink is terrific for a delightful filling drink in the evening when you don’t feel like making a meal. For breakfast, tastes great with oatmeal and fruit. This was the highlight of the evening at a Vegetarian Supper Club in Holt, MI

2 c. cold nutmilk or soymilk
4 ice cubes
4 T. Strawberry, Blueberry or Blackberry Jam (unsweetened is fine)

Blend till perfectly smooth.
