Not Your Average Oatmeal Cookies

Light, yet whole grain cookies that kids and adults say are sweet and fun to eat. These tasty whole grain cookies provide fiber, and are low-fat.   The directions are easy…just add water, vanilla and oil and you have 20 cookies in 17 minutes. Ingredients: Evaporated cane juice, whole wheat pastry flour, oatmeal, non-aluminum baking powder (sodium acid pyrophosphate, sodium bicarbonate, corn starch & mono-calcium phosphate), sea salt. 15.18 oz.


Delicious mix makes 25 cookies in 17 minutes. Most store bought oatmeal cookies have 90% fat. You won't miss the milk, eggs, white flour, hydrogenated fat or eggs when you bite into this deliciously sweet cookie. Just whole grain goodness. Packs well in a child's school lunch.Add your favorite combinations.

Be creative. Our customers tell us about adding new combinations to them, such as 1/4 cup of carob chips or dried apricots or raisins and walnuts, or dates, or even peanut butter.

Cookie Crisp

  • Fruit Filling
  • 1 12 oz. can white grape juice and peach concentrate
  • 2 t. lemon juice
  • ¼ c. cornstarch

8 c. fruit (frozen or canned and drained peaches, berries, or pitted cherries) mix together the first three ingredients and bring to a boil. Stir constantly. Add fruit. Pour into an oil 8x11 inch glass dish. For filling 2, pour into an oiled glass dish.

OR

  • Alternate Filling
  • 2 cans pie filling, blueberry, cherry or apple
  • Spread in glass 8x11 dish

Topping

  • Not Your Average Oatmeal Cookies Mix
  • ¼ c. oil
  • 1/3 c. +1 t. water

Mix together all topping ingredients. Crumble topping over the fruit filling evenly. Bake in a hot oven for 35-45 minutes till topping is golden brown and not chewy. Watch edges and don’t let it burn. Tastes wonderful hot with whipped topping.
