Homemade Coconut Milk

Homemade Coconut Milk
4 c. water
pinch salt
2 T. honey
Whiz and strain through cloth or colander if neccessary.

People are realizing soy sauce is between 900-1200 mg. of sodium per tablespoon. Some say that soy sauce is not good food because it has excitotoxins and it is aged and fermented. So, make your own and enjoy under 300 mg. of sodium per tablespoon.

1 1/2 c. boiling water
1/4 c. and 1 t. lemon juice
2 T. sesame oil
1 T dark molasses

In a bowl, dissolve seasonings in boiling water. Stir in remaining ingredients. Shake well before using.

3 T. lemon juice
1/2 c. soymilk
1/4 t. All Purpose Veggie Salt
1/4 t. paprika
6 T. vegetable oil or olive oil

Put into a blender and blend. Add oil a little at a time.
Put in jar.
Makes 3/4 c.

  • Add a cup of baking soda to your wash. Your clothes will be whiter and take away any odors from your clothes.
  • What to fix for surprise company? When company comes, there is usually a large jar of spaghetti sauce, a box or package of spaghetti, a frozen green vegetable (peas, green beans or broccoli) and a loaf of bread in the freezer.

  • Use a powder puff with flour for dusting cake and other baking pans before you pour in the batter.
  • When plastic wrap wont stick to your bowl, moisten the edges of the bowl and it will stick.
    A Filling Breakfast - A whole or mixed grain bagel with two tablespoons of peanut butter (373 calories, 18 grams of fat) has enough fiber (4 grams) and protein (16 grams) to keep you feeling full for up to four hours. And, this breakfast contains mostly monounsaturated fat, which can help prevent heart disease.
  • Let avocados ripen outside the refrigerator. When they are still firm but have a slight give when gently squeezed they are ripe.
  • Replace popsicles with home made frozen pops made with yogurt or fruit juice, or frozen blender fruit drinks.
  • When making fruit pies, freeze an extra batch of filling in an aluminum foil pie pan. Then, when you need a pie, just thaw the filling slightly and put into a dough-lined pie pan. Cover with top crust or streusel and bake at 400 degrees for 1-1/2 hours.
  • When selecting tomatoes, look for those with smooth skin. They should be plump and feel heavy for their size.
  • Carrots will stay fresh longer if tops are removed before storing in the refrigerator.
