Laurie Snyman

As a family therapist, Laurie realizes how research supports that families only sharing 3-4 meals per week can:
  • Improve Grades
  • Train children in appropriate social behaviors and etiquette
  • Helps adolescents to set higher standards in their lives and have less drug involvement
  • Improves self esteem
Laurie loves feeding people, and testing out new recipes which might be a new product for The Vegetarian Express.

The Vegetarian Express Is Born...at a Superbowl Party?

When Connie and Laurie talked at a Super Bowl party in 2003, they mentioned their concern for people's health, time pressure and how it would be great to have fast, easy to make, whole grain foods. They put their heads together, and created The Vegetarian Express.

Beginnings
Connie and Laurie appreciate all the people that make their company run. From Berwyn and Barbara who share their talents and food know-how, as well as order foods wholesale, to Terry, who mixes and labels our products, to Brenda who packs our orders at Roger's Natural Food Store in Edmore. Here is a picture of Brenda filling our shipping and web page orders.
